I booked The Wellington Hotel for a friend, and she had a fantastic stay! Although the room was small, it was ideal for one person — cosy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged with all the essentials. She particularly appreciated the comfortable bed and the modern bathroom with high-quality toiletries. She couldn’t stop praising the location, as it was in the heart of Birmingham with almost everything within walking distance. Whether it was restaurants, shops, or local attractions, the convenience made her trip so much easier. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and perfect for relaxing after a busy day. She also mentioned how friendly and attentive the staff were, always ready to help and make her feel welcome. It was great to know she had such a positive experience, and I’ll definitely consider booking this hotel again for future trips!

The breakfast was a good variety each morning. Location was a 5 minute walk from the city centre which was really ideal too. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in birmingham.

Ideal location for us as we were attending the O2 Academy which is across the road. Close to the Chinese quarter and to the train station. Slept really well as the bed was comfy. The drinks in the pub were reasonable and the staff very helpful and friendly. Needs some updating here and there but the rooms are clean and fairly well appointed.

We came just for one night, enjoying an amazing guitarist’s concert on the day of arrival. For just one night, “sleep, shower, breakfast and on you go” kind of staying, this place is enough.

The bed was super soft and the shower is really great! I was upgraded for free because I came in with crutches and they felt bad for me (there is no elevator and the stairs are steep). But I wanted to take home the blanket and the pillows because they were so good.
